The Yaoxian RCO
Catalytic Combustion Equipment decomposes VOCs into CO2 and H2O at low temperatures of 200-400 ℃ under the action of a catalyst. It is one of the effective methods for purifying organic waste gases such as hydrocarbons and eliminating odors. It is widely used in the purification of organic waste gas, especially in industries with low recycling value, such as chemical, painting, insulation materials, enameled wire, and coating production.
Yaoxian Environmental Protection RCO has solved the following problems:
① Solved the security issue. Almost all organic compounds can be catalytically decomposed at only 200-400 ℃, avoiding the flame safety hazards faced by conventional incineration methods such as TO, RTO, RCO, etc.
② Solved the issue of purification efficiency. Its efficiency is over 99%, but other purification methods (condensation recovery, TO incineration, adsorption, plasma, photolysis, etc.) have low emissions and cannot meet the standards.
③ Solved the issue of investment costs. Compared with conventional RCO, SRCO has an investment cost of about 50% of RTO.
④ Solved the issue of operating costs. Compared with adsorption methods, SRCO has extremely low operating costs and can almost maintain normal self operation at concentrations greater than 1000ppm without consuming other energy.
⑤ Solved personnel maintenance issues. The entire device adopts a PLC automation control system, which automatically adjusts according to the trend of concentration and temperature changes.
The RCO catalytic decomposition device consists of a pretreatment device, a preheating device, a
Catalytic Combustion device, and an explosion-proof device.
① Exhaust gas pretreatment: In order to avoid clogging of the catalyst bed and catalyst poisoning, exhaust gas must be pretreated before entering the bed to remove dust, droplets, and catalyst toxins from the exhaust gas.
② Preheating device: The preheating device includes an exhaust gas preheating device and a catalyst burner preheating device. Because catalysts have a catalytic activity temperature, which is called the catalyst ignition temperature for catalytic combustion. The temperature of the exhaust gas and bed must reach the ignition temperature before catalytic combustion can proceed. Therefore, a preheating device must be installed. But for situations where the exhaust gas itself has a high temperature, such as enameled wires, insulation materials, baking paint, etc., and the temperature can reach over 300 ℃, there is no need to install a preheating device.
③ Catalytic combustion device: Generally, a fixed bed catalytic reactor is used. The design of the reactor should be carried out in accordance with specifications, and should be easy to operate, maintain, and load/unload catalysts.

Explosion Proof device: It is a diaphragm pressure relief explosion-proof device installed on the top of the host. When accidents occur during the operation of the equipment, it can be promptly cracked to release pressure and prevent accidents from happening.

Yaoxian selects precious metal catalysts (Pt, Pd, and Au) with low ignition temperature (280 ℃ ignition), high removal efficiency (>95%), high catalytic activity, as well as high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance. Catalysts change the rate of chemical reactions without participating in the reaction themselves, resulting in minimal consumption before and after the reaction and a long service life.
RCO equipment can be directly applied to purify organic waste gases with medium to high concentrations (100mg/m3-10000 mg/m3);
RCO equipment can also be applied to activated carbon adsorption concentration catalytic combustion systems, replacing catalytic combustion and heater parts;
RCO treatment technology is particularly suitable for situations with high heat recovery requirements, as well as for situations on the same production line where the composition of exhaust gas often changes or the concentration of exhaust gas fluctuates greatly due to different products.
