The system's fan unit sucks the collected exhaust gas into the washing tower and flows through the filling layer (the medium for gas/liquid contact reaction), allowing the exhaust gas to fully contact the liquid (washing liquid) flowing on the surface of the filling material, in order to adsorb acidic or alkaline pollutants contained in the exhaust gas.

After washing, the waste liquid is collected in a collection tank and then discharged into the wastewater system for treatment. The gas inside the tower is sent in by a fan and flows from bottom to top. The absorbing liquid is pumped into the top of the tower by an acid resistant pump and uniformly sprayed downwards through a liquid distribution device to form countercurrent absorption. The neutralized gas passes through the dehazing section inside the tower and is discharged into the atmosphere through a chimney. Different acidic gases are absorbed by different absorbing liquids. Using sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solution as the absorption neutralization solution, the purification efficiency of HCl acid mist (initial concentration<400 mg/m3) can reach over 98% when the solution concentration is 2-6%; The efficiency of purifying (H2SO4) acid mist (initial concentration<300 mg/m3) can reach over 97%; The efficiency of purifying nitric acid (HNO3) acid mist (initial concentration<100 mg/m3) can reach over 90%.
